Experience an unforgettable journey on our signature Wild South Adventour. You'll explore the most beautiful and exotic places in the south of Mauritius with stunning natural beauty and landscapes. On this 8-hour guided tour, you will hike part of the South's coastline, walk through an otherwordly cave, swim in a natural rock pool and under hidden waterfalls. Next up, the beach!
After a local lunch, the Wild South is traded for white-sand beaches and crystal blue waters. Choose to relax under the sun, swim and snorkel or pause to watch the waves. This Wild South Adventour will invigorate your mind and leave a lasting impression in your heart.

On this tour, you will encounter various terrains, including rocky paths and elevations. It’s important to have good mobility to navigate these challenges safely. Here are a few tips:
Wear Proper Footwear: Sturdy hiking, trail running or walking shoes with good traction are essential for stability on rocky surfaces and elevations.
Pace Yourself: Take breaks as needed, especially on steep sections, to avoid overexertion.
Communicate Any Concerns: If you feel uncomfortable or need assistance, don’t hesitate to let us know.
If you are bringing a child younger than 2 years old, please plan to bring a baby carrier and/or a backpack to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the hike.
Transportation
Transportation is offered for this tour from any location across Mauritius. Due to the location of this tour, fair pay for our guides, vehicle capacity, and fuel-surcharges we price this service separately. If you would like us to provide pick-up and drop-off services for your experience, we ask that you add the appropriate transportation selection for the number of people in your party, and specify in your booking the location where you would like us to meet you. Our vehicles can carry up to 4 individuals. For example, if you are a party of 8 travellers staying in the south of Mauritius, please select 2x South Island Transportation.
Private & Shared TOURS
We offer both private and group experiences for this tour…
Booking a private experience for any number of travellers up to 14 implies you and your party gets private access to the tour and guides.
Booking a shared group experience allows you to join a group of up to 5 other travellers with whom you share the adventour.
A minimum of two travellers is required to organise this Adventour. If you are a solo traveller, your tour may be rescheduled so you can join a shared group on another date.

This tour is about real beauty of Mauritius, that is away from all tourist hotspots. We saw beautiful nature and beaches, swam in the waterfalls, visited hidden caves and everywhere we were alone! We can definitely say, that it was our best experience of the whole stay:) Jay will take care of everything and you can just be there - in the moment, with whole ocean in front of you, soaking the atmosphere and real beauty of the island 🤍 Thank you Jay!:)

Our guide Jenny was an excellent tour guide throughout the entire trip. Her knowledge of the landscape and specific nature spots was impressive. We went hiking, swam in waterfalls, rockpool with amazing waves in the background. Visited beautiful caves. The best of all was that we were all alone in those fantastic places. It was such an unforgettable experience for all of us!

Ahhh!!! How do I find the words to describe Jenny and Jay!? They are AMAZING!! I tried to look for an operator that could offer me something similar to what they were advertising, I could not find anyone that came even close to what they advertised. Reasons why I would recommend them: 1. We felt so safe! This was a major factor for me as I was travelling with my daughter (7yo) 2. They are so knowledgeable of the Island 3. The trip was planned to fit our every need and they didn’t even look at the time! Our time was theirs. We had a very adventurous and fun day with Jay on the WILD South Tour. The reservation itself was very easy and Jenny helped a lot by answering all my questions. Jay took us to amazing places and we were the only ones there, so this enhanced the whole experience. He was very patient with the kids and answered all their curiosities. At the end, they were left with some “natural candy”, sugar cane sticks that Jay explained how they can chew on them. :)) We would recommend them anytime!
